Data Protector calls it a “Backup Specification”. Data Protector’s forerunner (Omniback) called a similar element a “datalist”.  Still other Backup applications allude to it as a “Backup approach”.

We have to change Backup Specification name as some other name.

Problem after change the data specification name schedule time of data specification will be changed. We have reschedule after name change.

Not at all like a lot of Data Protector’s arrangement which lives in the Internal Database (IDB), you’ll see that Backup determinations are put away as level records that can be seen and altered with any regular word processor, for example,

Unix

/etc/opt/omni/server/datalists
Windows 2003 and earlier
C:\Program Files\OmniBack\Config\Server\Datalists

Windows 2008 and beyond
C:\ProgramData\OmniBack\Config\Server\Datalists

Your document areas may vary if the defaults were changed at introduce time. Note additionally that with Windows 2008 and past, the Program Data catalog is covered up of course. To see it in File Explorer, you should alter your organizer and inquiry alternatives to indicate concealed documents and envelopes.
