Description
You can point to configurable message administration option unlimited policy of group as per our requirement. We can configure the spam, malware, and content separating approaches for an arrangement of clients.
When Symantec Messaging Gateway processes a message, policy will work based on group membership, we can define the group member as sender or recipient. For an outbound message, it is the sender’s policy group that determines processing.
The Default policy group is always the last group in the list. You cannot change the precedence of the Default policy group.
Environment:
Symantec Messaging Gateway version 10.6.2-7
Step to Follow:
Step 1 – Log in the Symantec Messaging Gateway GUI Console
Step 2 – Go to the Administrator > User > Policy Group
Manage members and filtering policies for policy groups in your organization. Policy group is always message process work top to bottom order. Last policy call as default policy group which cannot movable.
Step 3 – Click to Add policy group .
Add policy group and define the name of policy group which is editable.
Step 4 – ADD member of created policy group. Add email addresses or domain names. You can add wildcard entry (*) for all domain and email id.
Step 5 – As per your requirement, specify the Inbound or Outbound mail policy.
